Da’Tara Johnson, affectionately known as "Baby Dee," was tragically killed on January 16, 2022, at the age of 18. The incident occurred at the Stone Lake Apartments on the south side of Indianapolis. Early that Sunday morning, police responded to a call about a person shot at the apartment complex. Da’Tara was found with gunshot wounds and was rushed to the hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries a few hours later.
