In a quiet neighborhood on the southeast side of Indianapolis, a grim discovery was made on a Tuesday afternoon in early February 2021. Police were called to a home in the 8000 block of Meadow Lane for a welfare check, and what they found inside brought a tragic end to the lives of a married couple. Janet Thomas, a 72-year-old female, was found deceased inside the residence, having sustained apparent trauma.
