In the early morning hours of July 19, 2025, a fatal shooting on the northwest side of Indianapolis claimed the life of 42-year-old Sabrina Nicole Harbert. The incident occurred just before 3 a.m. in the 5500 block of Georgetown Road, outside a liquor store. When officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Harbert unresponsive in the parking lot. She was transported to a local hospital in critical condition but was later pronounced dead.
