In the early morning hours of July 14, 2023, the life of 27-year-old Demond Malik Marsh was tragically cut short in St. Marys, Georgia. A male resident of the town, Marsh was found on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound when officers from the St. Marys Police Department arrived at the Cumberland Oaks Apartment complex around 7:44 a.m. He was immediately life-flighted to UF Health Shands in Jacksonville, Florida, for emergency medical treatment.
