Samuel D. Freeman, a 30-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on July 1, 2015, in Waynesboro, Georgia. The incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. on the 800 block of Cedar Street. Freeman sustained multiple gunshot wounds, including a fatal shot to the torso and additional injuries to his right leg. Despite being transported to Georgia Regents Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the shooting.
