Raynard Tamario Ellison, a 36-year-old African American man from Waynesboro, Georgia, was fatally shot on January 12, 2025. At approximately 4:20 a.m., Waynesboro Police responded to a call reporting a possible gunshot victim at the Magnolia Acres apartment complex. Upon arrival, officers found Mr. Ellison inside Apartment 47, suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Burke Health, where he was pronounced dead.
