Tacorey Brigham, a 17-year-old African American male from Girard, Georgia, tragically lost his life on November 27, 2019, in Waynesboro, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Magnolia Acres Housing Authority Complex around 8:15 p.m. on the evening before Thanksgiving. Tacorey was fatally shot, and despite the efforts of the Waynesboro Police Department and Burke County Sheriff's Office, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
