In the quiet town of Valdosta, Georgia, the life of 15-year-old Wesley White Jr. was tragically cut short on the evening of May 18, 2024. A sophomore at Lowndes High School with a bright future, he was known by friends and co-workers as a hardworking and humble young man who preferred spending his time at his job at a local country club to stay out of trouble.
That Saturday night, shortly after leaving work, Wesley was found shot and killed in a parking lot at Scott Park on Old Stenville Road. The news of his violent death sent shockwaves through the community, prompting a swift investigation by the Valdosta Police Department.
Within days, authorities identified three teenage suspects in connection with the fatal shooting.
