Sherrod Gore, a 23-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 28, 2021, in Valdosta, Georgia. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning in the parking area of CBC Bank, across from Lucky’s Bar in Remerton. Sherrod Gore and Jamar Walton, a 21-year-old male from Valdosta, were both victims of a shooting that resulted from an altercation at the bar. Sherrod Gore died at the scene, while Jamar Walton succumbed to his injuries later at a local hospital.
