In the early morning hours of Friday, May 28, 2021, the city of Valdosta, Georgia, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the lives of two young men. Sherrod Gore, a 23-year-old male, and Jamar Antwan Walton, 21, were fatally shot in the parking area of CBC Bank, situated across from Lucky's Bar in the neighboring city of Remerton.
