Michael Bernard Taylor Jr., a 26-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on October 1, 2022, in Valdosta, Georgia. On that day, officers from the Valdosta Police Department responded to a call reporting a shooting at a residence on Hudson Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Michael Bernard Taylor Jr. inside the home with significant trauma to his body. Despite efforts by officers and emergency medical services to provide first aid, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
