James Bivins Jr., a 32-year-old African American male from Valdosta, Georgia, tragically lost his life on February 8, 2020. The incident occurred in the 900 block of Nardo Street, where a large crowd had gathered. A fight broke out among the attendees, leading to gunfire. James Bivins Jr. was struck by a bullet in his torso. Emergency medical personnel quickly transported him to South Georgia Medical Center, but despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
