Quintavius Antwan Thomas, a 31-year-old African American male from Valdosta, GA, tragically lost his life on April 3, 2020, due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred on McAfina Trail, where Valdosta Police responded to a call about a shooting around 8:09 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found Thomas deceased with a gunshot wound to the upper part of his body. Another individual was also shot and transported to South Georgia Medical Center in serious condition.
