Death by Force

Zachary Butler, a 19-year-old male from Valdosta, Georgia, tragically lost his life on July 12, 2017. Zachary, who was a student at Valdosta State University and a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity, was found dead in his apartment at The Gates, a student housing complex. The initial emergency call suggested a possible suicide, but upon further investigation, the Valdosta Police Department determined that Zachary had died from a gunshot wound and ruled the incident a homicide.
