In the early morning hours of August 31, 2019, a grim discovery was made in a St. Louis neighborhood. Joe Anna Rosi Soptic, a 22-year-old female, was found deceased, having suffered a fatal gunshot wound. The circumstances of her death were particularly alarming, as her body was located approximately 50 to 75 feet from a box van that was fully engulfed in flames in an alley in the 2700 block of Belt.
