In the late hours of a Saturday night in Saint Louis, Missouri, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace on Interstate 70. The incident, which occurred on September 25, 2021, near the Madison Street exit, left 27-year-old Kala Taylor with multiple gunshot wounds. Responding officers discovered her inside a vehicle, and she was urgently transported to a nearby hospital for medical attention. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the young woman succumbed to her injuries the following day.
