On May 26, 2024, Micah McCant, a 31-year-old resident of the Tifton, Georgia area, lost his life in a violent incident in Fort Valley, Georgia. The incident occurred at the Royal Town Homes, where Fort Valley Police Department responded to a call about a person who had been shot and possibly hit by a vehicle.
