Justin Woodford, a 16-year-old African American male from Perry, Georgia, tragically lost his life on August 20, 2022, in Fort Valley, Georgia. The incident occurred around 5:45 AM near 1207 Edward Street. According to the Peach County Coroner, Kerry Rooks, Justin was pronounced dead at the scene due to a gunshot wound. Eyewitnesses reported that Justin and a relative were assaulted by three male suspects prior to the shooting at an apartment complex on Edward Street.
