Tyler French, a 27-year-old man from Fort Valley, Georgia, tragically lost his life on October 23, 2021. The incident occurred during a fraternity block party held in conjunction with the homecoming celebrations at Fort Valley State University. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) reported that Tyler French was shot and killed around 3 a.m. on Carver Drive, less than a mile from the university campus.
