Brandon Goodwin, a 37-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on May 14, 2022, in Fort Valley, Georgia. The incident occurred on Edward Street, where he was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Despite being rushed to Atrium Health Navicent Peach, he was pronounced dead by Peach County Coroner Kerry Rooks. The community was left in shock and mourning as they remembered Brandon for his warm smile and positive demeanor.
