On October 26, 2024, Quinton Owens, a 67-year-old man from Fort Valley, Georgia, lost his life due to a gunshot wound. The incident occurred at approximately 2:20 a.m. when Fort Valley Police Officers were called to a residence on the 400 block of Pecan Avenue regarding a shooting involving a possible intruder.
