On September 30, 2024, a fatal shooting occurred in East Macon, Georgia, resulting in the death of 23-year-old Dontavious Ryshaun Holsey of Milledgeville. The incident took place near the intersection of Wallace Road and Johnson Street, off Jeffersonville Road. Bibb County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene just before 7:30 p.m. and found two victims who had been shot.
