In the early morning hours of a Saturday in Macon, Georgia, a beloved member of the community, Prakash Patel, was tragically killed. The 40-year-old Indian man was working as a clerk at the Gary Food Mart and Sunoco Gas Station on Bloomfield Drive when two men entered the store with guns drawn. It was approximately 1:25 a.m. on June 18, 2016, when the armed robbery took a fatal turn. Patel was a kind-hearted man, known for helping customers, sometimes even with his own money.
