In the summer of 2022, on July 15th, a burst of gunfire on Carlisle Avenue in Macon, Georgia, tragically cut short the life of 17-year-old Tyreek Demontez Young. Responding to the incident, Bibb County Sheriff's deputies discovered the young male in the roadway, critically wounded by a gunshot. He was rushed to Atrium Health, but his injuries proved too severe, and he was pronounced deceased in the early evening.
