Kemani Ridgeway, a 20-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on January 9, 2015, in Macon, Georgia. Kemani was shot in the chest on Shurling Drive in east Macon. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after the incident. His death was a significant loss to his family and the community, who remembered him as a respectful young man.
