In the fading daylight of a late February evening in Macon, Georgia, the life of 25-year-old Corey Maurice Hall was brought to an abrupt and violent end. On Saturday, February 25, 2023, Hall was with a group of people in the Anthony Homes neighborhood on Wren Avenue when a vehicle approached. Without warning, gunfire erupted from the passing car, striking Hall multiple times in what authorities described as a drive-by shooting.
