In the late hours of a Friday night in Macon, Georgia, tragedy struck, forever altering the lives of a local family. On October 29, 2022, 23-year-old Dakari Faulkner was found suffering from a single gunshot wound in the 2500 block of Willis Drive. The Bibb County Sheriff's Office responded to a call about a person shot just before 11:30 p.m. and discovered the gravely injured young man.
