Quinton Tylor Benyard, a 28-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on December 21, 2018, in Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred early in the morning at the intersection of Poplar Street and Third Street. Benyard was discovered with a gunshot wound to his chest around 1 a.m. by a Bibb County Sheriff's Patrol Deputy. Despite being transported to Navicent Health by ambulance, he succumbed to his injuries at approximately 3:30 a.m.
