John Tennent, a 30-year-old man, was found shot in the back at the Broadway Lofts Apartments on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in downtown Macon, Georgia. The incident occurred early on the morning of January 25, 2025. Authorities responded to the scene and transported Tennent to Atrium Health Navicent, where he was pronounced dead at approximately 3:15 a.m.

The Bibb County Coroner, Leon Jones, confirmed the identity of the victim and stated that the shooting was deemed accidental. The ...Read More
