Death by Force

Candace Towns, a 30-year-old Black transgender woman, was tragically found shot to death on October 31, 2017, in Macon, Georgia. Her body was discovered by a Bibb County public works employee in a driveway between two abandoned homes on Rosecrest Avenue. Candace had been reported missing on October 29, 2017, after last being seen alive on October 28, 2017.
