In the early morning hours of May 18, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace outside the Midtown Daiquiri Bar & Grill on Log Cabin Drive in Macon, Georgia, leaving a scene of chaos and tragedy. When the shooting ceased, 24-year-old Javarsia Meadows, a male, was among three men pronounced dead at the scene. His 28-year-old half-brother, Jedarrius Meadows Jr., and 32-year-old Javonta Faulks also lost their lives in the violent encounter. The hail of bullets, with over 50 shell casings later found by investigators, also left six other individuals wounded and in need of hospital care.
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office launched an intensive investigation into the triple homicide. Their efforts led to the identification of several suspects. One of the first to be apprehended was Muchman Bond III, 25, who was arrested in South Carolina on an unrelated charge in May. Soon after, authorities in Macon arrested 17-year-old Travis Keyshaun Glover and 28-year-old Jarrius Terrell Curry. Another man sought in connection with the killings, 25-year-old Christopher Valentine, was found dead in a Macon house from a self-inflicted gunshot wound before he could be taken into custody.
In September 2025, a grand jury indicted the three captured suspects on a range of serious charges. Travis Keshaun Glover and Muchman Bond III face multiple counts of murder and aggravated assault for their alleged roles in the deadly shooting. Jarrius Terrell Curry was indicted on charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. While authorities have not officially released a motive for the mass shooting, some reports have suggested a possible connection to gang activity. The cases against the indicted individuals are pending in the Bibb County Superior Court.
