Taquan Turner, a 29-year-old resident of Alexandria, was fatally shot on Monday, October 7, 2024, in the 100 block of T Street in Northeast Washington, D.C. When police responded to reports of a shooting, they found Turner suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of DC Fire and EMS, all lifesaving measures failed, and Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.
