John Stowers, a 56-year-old man from Madison, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed on July 18, 2016. He was found by a friend around 2:30 a.m. on the porch of his mobile home in the 100 block of Queen Ann Drive. Neighbors reported hearing gunfire around 11:30 p.m. the night before. The investigation revealed that a dispute between Stowers and 17-year-old Tyler Atkins led to the shooting.
