An evening in Washington, D.C. turned tragic, marking the premature end of a young life. On Friday, October 25, 2024, at approximately 5:47 p.m., the sound of gunshots pierced the air in the 3700 block of Georgia Avenue, Northwest. A Fourth District officer on patrol heard the shots and promptly responded to the 800 block of Quincy Street, Northwest.
