On a cold January evening in Denver, Colorado, 60-year-old Richard Sanchez was riding a city bus, just a few blocks from his home. He was on his way back to his daughters and grandsons when a verbal exchange erupted with a group of teenagers. The dispute, according to police, began over Sanchez's leg blocking the aisle.
