Cainnan Devance Gates III, a 34-year-old resident of Davenport, Iowa, was found dead on Wednesday, June 7, 2017, following a shooting incident. The police were called to the scene at approximately 2:30 a.m.

Gates was discovered shot to death inside a house in Davenport. Upon arrival, officers found him and pronounced him dead at the scene.
