In the late hours of a Wednesday evening in Davenport, Iowa, the life of a young man was tragically cut short. Just before 10 p.m. on September 14, 2016, police were called to an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Blythwood Place, where they found 24-year-old Doug Knochenmus, a White/Caucasian male, with life-threatening injuries from a gunshot wound. Emergency services transported him to Genesis East medical center, but sadly, he later succumbed to his injuries.
