In the early hours of a Monday morning, the life of John K. Gilmartin, a 24-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in Davenport, Iowa. On June 5, 2023, at approximately 1:16 a.m., Davenport Police were dispatched to the 100 block of South Pine Street following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered that Gilmartin had sustained injuries from a shooting. He was quickly transported by paramedics to a local hospital for medical attention.
