In the winter of 2021, the life of a Black/African American fourteen-year-old boy named Jamon Winfrey was tragically cut short. On the evening of February 24th, in Davenport, Iowa, Jamon was found shot in the 1300 block of Farnam Street. Known affectionately as "Snoop" to his friends and family, Jamon was described as a loving and outgoing young man who was full of life and never afraid to speak his mind. In his free time, he enjoyed playing video games and spending time with his friends.
