In the winter of 2021, the life of 33-year-old Nicholas A. Brown, a Black/African American male, was tragically cut short in Davenport, Iowa. On the morning of Saturday, January 30th, police were called to the 600 block of Fillmore Street following reports of a domestic disturbance that had escalated to a shooting. First responders discovered Brown at the scene with life-threatening gunshot wounds.
