In the late hours of a spring Saturday, the life of Gary L. Harris, a 67-year-old Black/African American man, was tragically cut short in Davenport, Iowa. On April 29, 2023, Harris and another man, 30-year-old Narada Clark, were found shot to death in an alley in the 1400 block of W. 4th Street. The Davenport Police Department responded to a call of shots fired at approximately 11:51 p.m. and discovered the two men, who had both succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
