Jovontia "Jovi" Jones, a 16-year-old sophomore at Davenport Central High School, tragically lost his life on Sunday, May 20, 2018, due to a senseless act of gun violence in Davenport, Iowa. The incident occurred on the evening of Saturday, May 19, 2018, when Jones was shot outside a convenience store located at the busy intersection of 13th and Harrison streets.
