In a tragic turn of events on April 4, 2019, 8-year-old Jaden Webb, a Caucasian male, and his twin brother, Jordon, were found deceased in their Tucson, Arizona home. The boys had suffered fatal gunshot wounds. Pima County Sheriff's deputies discovered the brothers in separate bedrooms after responding to a call for medical assistance at the residence located in the 2400 block of W Kessler Pack.
The boys' grandmother and legal guardian, 55-year-old Dorothy Flood, was found unresponsive
at the scene with symptoms of an apparent overdose. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Following the discovery of the deceased children, Flood was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with their deaths. She was subsequently booked into the Pima County Adult Detention Complex.
Flood had gained guardianship of Jaden and his brother after their mother passed away in 2017. According to a friend, Flood had expressed fears about her ability to care for the boys in the future. The investigation revealed that Flood fatally shot her grandsons before attempting to take her own life. Ultimately, Dorothy Flood pleaded guilty to two counts of manslaughter and was sentenced to 21 years in prison.
