In the early evening of March 8, 2021, a simmering dispute between two groups of young people in Tucson, Arizona, violently erupted, tragically ending the life of 35-year-old Travon Lewis Lavender. A male, Mr. Lavender found himself in the wrong place at the wrong time, caught in a confrontation that had nothing to do with him. The conflict had started earlier in the day, and one group of juveniles reportedly went to an apartment complex on South Pantano Road to confront the other group.
