In a tragic turn of events on June 21, 2024, 22-year-old Ray Bernal Jr., a Hispanic male, lost his life in Tucson, Arizona. The incident unfolded in the afternoon, around 2:15 p.m., near the intersection of 12th Avenue and Drexel Road. Authorities were initially called to the scene for reports of an assault. Upon their arrival, they discovered Mr. Bernal with obvious signs of trauma. Despite the efforts of first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
