On a summer morning in Tucson, Arizona, the life of 32-year-old Andrew Jacob Valencia was cut short by gunfire. The fatal encounter unfolded on July 27, 2025, just after 9:00 a.m. in the courtyard of the Grand Luxe Hotel on West Grant Road. Officers arrived at the scene to find two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Andrew Valencia was pronounced deceased at the location, while the second man, a 33-year-old, was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
