In the pre-dawn hours of October 26, 2024, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet at the Enchanted Hills Trailhead on the west side of Tucson, Arizona. When Tucson Police Department officers responded to reports of the shooting shortly before 2:30 a.m., they discovered a tragic scene in the 3200 block of W. 36th Street. Two young men had been shot. One of them, 20-year-old Jesus Fierro, was pronounced dead at the scene.
