In the early morning hours of July 8, 2020, the life of 50-year-old Danny Lee Jackson, a male, came to a violent end in the parking lot of a Tucson, Arizona apartment complex. Officers responded to a call just after midnight and discovered his body, marked by the trauma of a gunshot wound, at the complex located in the 400 block of North Grande Avenue.
Despite the efforts of first responders, he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The investigation into his death was quickly classified as a homicide. Authorities learned that a man and a woman had initially alerted a security guard to Jackson's presence in the parking lot, and the guard then placed the 911 call. However, law enforcement was unable to locate this couple for further questioning.
