On a late Friday morning in Tucson, Arizona, the life of 18-year-old Julian Diego Zepeda was tragically cut short. On May 24, 2019, what initially appeared to be a single-vehicle collision on the city's south side quickly turned into a homicide investigation. When police arrived at the scene near the Las Villas De Kino Apartments, they found Zepeda inside the crashed vehicle, not with injuries from the impact, but with clear signs of having been shot.
