On June 20, 2024, Martin John Bloom, a 56-year-old resident of Helena, Montana, died in Tucson, Arizona, as a result of an apparent road rage incident. The incident occurred at the intersection of West Ajo Highway and South Kinney Road on Tucson's west side. Pima County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the area around 4:20 p.m. and found Martin Bloom with a gunshot wound. He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
