In the early morning hours of April 22, 2021, the life of 35-year-old Chad Aaron Hill was tragically cut short in his native city of Tucson, Arizona. Just before 3:30 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting at an apartment complex on East Golf Links Road. There, near a walkway, they discovered Hill with gunshot trauma.
Chad Aaron Hill, a male born on August 5, 1985, was a father to six children.
His death left his family, including his parents and a wide circle of relatives, devastated. The untimely loss was compounded by the recent deaths of his two older brothers, leaving his parents to mourn the loss of all their sons.
The investigation into the shooting quickly led authorities to a suspect. Antonio Ulysses Collins, 37, was identified as the individual allegedly responsible for Hill's death. In a coordinated effort, law enforcement located and arrested Collins later the same day in Buckeye, a city more than 100 miles away from the scene of the crime.
Following his arrest, Collins was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Chad Aaron Hill. He was subsequently extradited to Pima County to face the charges brought against him. For his alleged role in the killing, Collins was booked into the Maricopa County Jail with his bail set at one million dollars.
